In 2011 I walked around lake Langisjór all alone in 4 days - a rather short time in my opinion. How often will you visit this fabulous part of the earth in a lifetime? So I decided to come back to Langisjór together with my son Philip in 2012. We planned to stay up to 10 days - not only to circuit the lake, but also to ascend the heights of Fögrufjöll, to explore the surroundings of Grasver a little bit and eventually to pay a visit to Botnaver. In the end we spent 6 days staying around the lake and 3 days walking back from Sveinstindur hut to Hólaskjól.
